The creators of Super Simple Songs developed the idea of using interactive nursery rhymes to teach Japanese students English. Music is universal and therefore a great idea when teaching children with cultural or language differences. I remember learning Spanish in Middle School with videos by Senor Morris. He would sing songs to teach and I still remember the songs and their meanings to this day. Super Simple Songs sell cds and videos for teaching tools and also provide a blog about their experiences.
Very cute, but when did it become “and you shake, shake, shake”?? It was always “shake it all about” (so that it rhymes with “put your ___ out”).
